Using enough dehumidification is important, but proper dehumidifier placement is equally critical.
Start with plenty of airmovers to promote sufficient evaporation and circulation among the damp areas. Then place dehumidifiers where the most evaporation needs to happen – in other words, in the wettest places.
Set Moisture "Capture Zones"
If achieving proper circulation is a challenge (for example where there are doorways, alcoves or other structural barriers), set up multiple "capture zones" using multiple dehumidifier and airmover sets to ensure even drying and reduce the likelihood of secondary damage.

Monitor Moisture Levels
It's critical to regularly evaluate humidity levels in the environment to ensure effective humidity control throughout the structure. With Dri-Eaz Command Hub dehumidifiers, that's easy - either view relative humidity on the Command Hub display or use our mobile app, Dri-Eaz Command Center Pro, to monitor humidity levels and drying progress remotely.
